Anne of Cleves House is a 15th century timber-framed Wealden hall-house that formed part of Anne's divorce settlement from Henry VIII in 1541. The house contains wide-ranging collections of Sussex interest, including Sussex pottery, and the bedroom and kitchen are furnished to reflect an earlier period. The East Room, with its oak beams, leaded light windows and huge Elizabethan fireplace, offers the perfect romantic setting for your civil ceremony. Candles and flowers add to the atmosphere in summer and in the winter a log fire burns, giving a warm glow to the room. The lovely garden provides a wonderful backdrop for your photographs, making this property the ideal location to celebrate your wedding.
